Visa-free entry to Belarus for citizens of European countries

From April 15, 2022 to December 31, 2025, a visa-free entry procedure is available for citizens of Lithuania, Latvia (as well as persons with the status of a non-citizen of Latvia). Also, from July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2025, a visa-free entry procedure to Belarus for Polish citizens was introduced.

From July 19, 2024 to December 31, 2025, a visa-free entry procedure is available for citizens of Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Vatican, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco can also visit Belarus without visas, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Northern Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Germany, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Estonia (as well as persons with the status of a non-citizen of Estonia).

  • Citizens of all countries (as well as persons with the status of a non-citizen of Estonia and a non-citizens of Latvia) who are allowed visa-free entry can enter Belarus through any Belarusian international border crossing point on the border.

    At the same time, it is allowed to leave our country through any Belarusian international border crossing point, as well as through all checkpoints at airports in Belarus.

  • You can use the right of visa-free entry to Belarus an unlimited number of times during the entire period of validity of this procedure until December 31, 2025 inclusive.

    For citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia (as well as persons with the status of a non-citizen of Latvia), the period of temporary stay should not exceed 90 days from the date of entry.

    For citizens of the other 35 states, temporary stay in Belarus should not exceed 30 days from the date of entry.

    In general, the number of days of stay in Belarus without a visa should not exceed 90 days in a calendar year.

  • Yes, citizens of countries (as well as persons with the status of a non-citizen of Estonia and non-citizens of Latvia) under visa-free are allowed to transit through the territory of Belarus to third countries, including through all airport checkpoints, except for traveling to the Russian Federation.
